The Cape Liberty Cruise Port is one of three trans-Atlantic passenger terminals in the Port of New York and New Jersey. Other names for it are Port Liberty and Cruise Port Bayonne. It is located in Bayonne, New Jersey at the north side of the 1.9 mi long pier of MOTBY, a former military ocean terminal, and began operations in 2004.

Royal Caribbean is one of the port’s primary tenants. In May 2006 the Freedom of the Seas – then the world’s largest cruise ship – was christened in a broadcast carried live on the NBC’s The Today Show. With the New York City skyline in your rear view, Bayonne offers spectacular sail-aways.

As of November 2015, Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas uses Cape Liberty as its main home port, replacing the Liberty of the Seas. In 2016 Anthem will sail year-round out of Cape Liberty, offering itineraries ranging from 5–12 night Caribbean/Bahamas cruises to Canada/New England cruises. She will also become the largest ship to sail through Canadian waters.
